Metal Daisy is me—Amy LeeAnn. I design and fabricate jewelry here in Columbus, Ohio and I aspire to create beautiful designs that bring positive, good energy to anyone who wears them.
I like both classic and modern designs, often in combinations that I am drawn to: metals (sterling silver and brass are two of my favorites); eye- and light-catching beads; and I have a deep love of gemstones.
I favor layered looks and coordinating pieces. I tend to design in collections, because they give me opportunity to play and vary materials, shapes, colors, patterns and textures. Inevitably, I find something I love about each variation, and it’s my hope that every piece stands on its own merits.
I feel fortunate to have studied at the renowned Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts in San Francisco. My time there was incredibly rewarding, and it gave me a solid foundation of skills—design, metal smithing, casting and a host of jeweler’s bench tricks that I still employ in my studio.
I take special pride in the quality of my work. My jewelry is crafted to last a lifetime in your care, with extra attention given to its durability and comfort—how a piece feels when worn, whether it lays properly when clasped. These things are equally as important as how it looks on your ear, around your neck, or on your wrist.
This is what inspires me daily. The hope that you will feel comfortable, confident and beautiful when you wear Metal Daisy.
